Terima kasih Dr Zubaidi.&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><br \/>Waalaikumussalam.<br \/><br \/><\/p>\n<p>Stevia bukan sekadar pengganti gula putih, tetapi turut menunjukkan potensi sebagai penawar tambahan (adjuvan) dalam pengurusan diabetes jenis 2 \u2014 menurut pelbagai kajian klinikal dan makmal.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>Saya bawakan beberapa kajian saintifik yang diterbitkan di journal.<\/p>\n<p><br \/><strong>1. Stevia Sebagai Pengganti Gula Putih<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stevia rebaudiana ialah tumbuhan dari keluarga Asteraceae. Ekstrak daunnya mengandungi steviol glycosides seperti stevioside dan rebaudioside A, yang memberikan rasa manis 200\u2013300 kali lebih kuat daripada sukrosa, tetapi tanpa kalori.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>Kajian saintifik : Goyal et al., 2010 : &#8220;Stevia is a natural sweetener with no caloric value and proven safety&#8230; safe for diabetic use and does not raise blood glucose levels.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Kesan Terapeutik Stevia Terhadap Glukosa Darah<\/strong><br \/><br \/>Beberapa kajian mendapati stevioside dalam stevia mampu:<\/p>\n<p>1. Meningkatkan sensitiviti insulin<\/p>\n<p>2. Menurunkan paras glukosa darah puasa dan post-prandial<\/p>\n<p><br \/>Kajian klinikal manusia \u2013 Anton et al., 2010, &#8220;Appetite Journal&#8221; : Peserta yang mengambil stevia (vs. sukrosa dan aspartame) menunjukkan:<\/p>\n<p>1. Paras glukosa darah postprandial lebih rendah<\/p>\n<p>2. Paras insulin lebih stabil<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Stevia Lindungi Sel Beta Pankreas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kajian in-vitro (Chen et al., 2005) : Stevia menunjukkan kesan antioksida dan anti-radang, membantu melindungi sel beta pankreas daripada kerosakan oleh radikal bebas \u2014 punca utama kerosakan pankreas dalam diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Had dan Penilaian Realistik<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stevia bukan ubat utama untuk diabetes tetapi boleh menjadi penawar sokongan jika digunakan bersama:<\/p>\n<p>1. Diet sihat<\/p>\n<p>2. Kawalan karbohidrat<\/p>\n<p>3. Senaman berkala<\/p>\n<p>4. Ubat doktor (jika perlu)<\/p>\n<p><br \/>Kesimpulannya, stevia lebih daripada sekadar pengganti gula. Ia memiliki potensi terapeutik sebenar dalam mengawal paras glukosa darah, dengan:<\/p>\n<p>1. Aktiviti insulinotropik (merangsang insulin)<\/p>\n<p><br \/>2. Kesan anti-diabetik<\/p>\n<p><br \/>3.
