Saya ada RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis). Betulkah saya tak boleh makan gula? Terima kasih&#8221;.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>************<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Waalaikumussalam.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bagi pesakit Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), pengambilan gula tambahan (refined sugar) adalah sangat tidak digalakkan kerana gula bertindak sebagai pencetus keradangan dalaman (systemic inflammation).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>RA sendiri adalah penyakit autoimun yang sudah pun dicirikan oleh proses keradangan kronik.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Maka, menambah gula ke dalam diet ibarat menyiram minyak ke atas api yang sedang marak.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kajian saintifik menunjukkan bahawa pengambilan gula berlebihan merangsang pelepasan sitokin pro-keradangan seperti TNF-\u03b1, IL-1\u03b2 dan IL-6, yang memburukkan simptom RA \u2014 termasuk sakit sendi, kekakuan, dan keletihan melampau.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jadi Berapa Banyak Gula Yang Dibenarkan?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Menurut saranan World Health Organization (WHO):<\/p>\n<p>Maksimum gula tambahan bagi orang dewasa sihat ialah:<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 25 gram sehari (lebih kurang 6 sudu teh)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Namun bagi pesakit RA, jumlah ini perlu dikurangkan separuh atau dihentikan terus, bergantung kepada:<\/p>\n<p>1. Tahap keradangan semasa<\/p>\n<p>2. Kehadiran penyakit metabolik lain seperti diabetes atau obesiti<\/p>\n<p>3. Respon tubuh terhadap pemakanan<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jika mampu, adalah jauh lebih baik untuk meninggalkan gula tambahan sepenuhnya.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Gula bukan keperluan nutrisi, dan tiada manfaat kesihatan dalam bentuk gula putih, sirap jagung tinggi fruktosa, atau manisan komersial lain.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Saya mencadangkan :<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Gantikan gula putih dengan pemanis semula jadi tanpa kalori seperti stevia atau monk fruit<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Amalkan pemakanan anti-keradangan, seperti diet Mediterranean:<\/p>\n<p>1. Minyak zaitun extra virgin<\/p>\n<p>2. Sayur hijau dan buah berwarna sederhana<\/p>\n<p>3. Ikan berlemak seperti salmon, sardin<\/p>\n<p>4. Kekacang dan rempah anti-keradangan (kunyit, halia, kayu manis)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Elakkan makanan yang diproses dan tinggi indeks glisemik (roti putih, biskut, air manis).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kesimpulan:<\/p>\n<p>Pesakit RA perlu memahami bahawa setiap sudu gula yang ditambah dalam diet harian berpotensi mencetuskan lebih banyak serangan sakit sendi dan mempercepatkan kerosakan tisu.<\/p>\n<p>Mengurangkan atau meninggalkan gula adalah salah satu ikhtiar terbaik untuk hidup lebih selesa dan memperlahankan progresi penyakit.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Kesembuhan datang bukan hanya dari ubat, tetapi dari kesedaran untuk berubah.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Semoga
